Today, I’m going to make Indian Style Macaroni. For this, I have taken one large cup of macaroni pasta. You can use any shape or design of pasta. I have also taken:
- 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 50 grams peas
- 1/2 cup bell pepper (capsicum)
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 cup tomato
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup carrots
All the vegetables are finely chopped. Let’s see how to make Indian Style Macaroni.
Instructions:
- Boil the Macaroni:
- Heat a pot with two large glasses of water until it starts boiling.
- Add the macaroni to the boiling water.
- Cook the macaroni on high heat until it’s properly cooked. Check if the macaroni is done by cutting it; if it cuts easily, it’s ready.
- Drain the water and transfer the macaroni to a plate.
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Heat a non-stick pan and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the butter is hot, add minced garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped vegetables (carrots, bell pepper, peas, onion, and tomato) and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are half-cooked.
- Add Spices and Sauces:
- Add turmeric powder, red chili sauce, tomato sauce, and mayonnaise to the vegetables.
- Mix everything well and cook on medium flame for another 2 minutes.
- Combine with Macaroni:
- Add the boiled macaroni to the pan and mix everything together.
- Optionally, add 2 cheese slices and cook for an additional minute until the cheese melts.
- Serve:
- Transfer the Indian Style Macaroni to a serving bowl.
